Intelligent Design?

We just saw The March of the Penguins. I think it’s the best argument against Intelligent Design I’ve heard yet. What a silly way to bring up a next batch of genes…

  1. Maybe it’s *so* intelligent that your imperfect mind can’t comprehend it! ;)

Of course there is intelligence behind the design. Design is intelligence of arranging the patterns and therefore we can’t even begin to discuss design without intelligence. But i don’t see why G.O.D. or any almighty being has to do with anything. Couldn’t it be that the system has a fundamental property of designing (creating) certain patterns. The less complicated the patterns (perspectively) are the less intelligent the design needs to be to function. Also, the more complicated the patterns are – the bigger the intelligence behind it.
