First of all, I have to suggest that frames have more contrast on the pages to write to you, on this page : http://ascher.ca/blog/about-me/
Because even with no visual impairment, we can’t distinguish the areas where we have to write in. So, I let you imagine for someone visually impaired….
Then, will be there in the next Thunderbird version (the v.3) boxes to check to complete a task on multiple emails, like in this screenshot : http://www.screencast.com/t/FdBdcsA7Q0 ?
Because not only it’ll ease the task, but it’ll minimize the risk of error when we complete a task
I just wanted to say that the custom type face you’re using across your entire site looks abysmal in Firefox 3.5 under Windows with Cleartype turned on.
Came across your site from a search on the Thunderbird Archive feature and noticed your header image. Here’s something for your bio – how about something about your location or about that photo. It looks an awful lot like Howe Sound to me.
at least an email form please, so that when we want to run to you fuming about things we hear in Vancouver about open source there could be a way.
I was at the Vancouver open data hackathon tonight, and a city official attending that meeting said, when asked about supporting open source projects, that the city was uncomfortable considering open source platforms because they are not safe!
I mean, how do you correct someone who is in so much mistake?
Hallo,
I have been using Thunderbird for years in combination with Lightning. When I bought a new PC in december I installed Office 2010 beta including Outlook as the main mailing client. It comes nice and integrated. Not so bad, but not really perfect either. Then, this week I pushed the “search for updates” button in the extras of Thunderbird on my laptop and downloaded and installed Thunderbird 3 (including the lightning update).
This was the best thing I have done on my computer for a long time. Wow! It feels like you have made it just for me. Everything I have been thinking and dreaming of is there. It is great. Fantastic. Incredible. Awesome. Wunderbar. Cool. Super. Spitze. Grossartig. Tschänt. Everything you like.
I love the search function… the statistics blow my mind. I love the new ordering of the inboxes of my different Mail accounts … I finally see what I need to see. I love the overview when I mark different Messages… it saves me time locating things. I love the tabs…just because I love tabs in general. I love the archive. I love the buttons in the message header. I love the icons.
Thank you and all the contributers for the spitzenmässig fantastischen Job you have done.

There’s a Bugzilla report and a screenshot here.

Sure does look like Howe Sound (or perhaps Princess Louisa) and being from the Sunshine Coast – it was the first thing I noticed too…
Hey, I wanted to send you a press release about our new add-on: ProcrasDonate which is now in beta. But I couldn’t find an email for you.
