Via John Biehler: I’d read this story in the New Yorker, but Malcolm Gladwell talks as well as he writes. Psychophysics is so much fun, it’s too bad the field’s name really reeks of the 1910’s.

Which of these is the new new thing? Will Scala do it for Erlang? Will Flapjax do it for Haskell? Can names get any goofier?

This is a movie I’d love to see.
